Teach me Tuesday #6-Homeschool Room
Well, if you haven’t noticed, I have been out of commission for a couple of weeks! We have FINALLY moved into our new house! YAY! I know there are some bloggers out there that have been through busy times and are able to keep up with the blogging and the homeschool, etc. I am not one of them! LOL
We started back to work last week in our BRAND NEW school room, so I thought I would show some pictures of what it looks like. I LOVE seeing pictures of everyone else’s school room areas, so here you go:
This is command central. I keep the kids’ daily school schedules and chore chart under each of their names.
This clear over-the-door shoe holder is hanging on the back of the door and holds pens, pencils, markers, scissors, high lighters, pipe cleaners, etc.
These are my IKEA shelves and baskets. They hold notebooks, construction paper, extra books, paints and binders.
This area currently has my dry erase board (obviously) and there is a cable and electrical outlet there for a tv to be mounted. We haven’t gotten that far yet.
These are 2 IKEA desks for my older two kids. They have their own desk tops and windows to look out of. We need some wire management under there for sure!
This is a longer, more slender desk that me and my youngest son share. I also have my printer and laminator sitting on top of an old file cabinet. I use it to keep personal stuff and stuff for my business, not anything school related. The longer desk gives me a place to work with my youngest as well as giving him an area to color or draw. He is in kindergarten, so he needs room.
The train table is in the middle of the room and, so far, has been used for drawing and snacks and dinosaur play, which was why I put it in there. I knew it would be useful.
That is all of my homeschool room for now! If I add anything, I will let you know….what does your homeschool room look like? I would love to see it!
