Chicken Alfredo is my favorite! I have bought the jar sauce in several brands and never found one I love. A few years ago, I decided to make my own sauce and it was really good! I have continued to make changes in the recipe until I felt like it is perfect! I want to share it with you.

Instructions
  1. Bring 6 cups of water to a boil in a stock pot. Add in pasta of your choice. I use bow tie or penne, regularly. Cook pasta for 7 minutes or until tender. Drain.
  2. In the meantime, melt 1/2 cup butter in a large frying pan. Add chicken and cook thoroughly for 10 minutes or until juices run clear. Turn off heat.
  3. In separate pan, mix remaining butter, cream cheese, milk, garlic, and parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper and cook over medium low heat. Use a whisk to break up the cream cheese and butter. Cook until cream cheese is fully incorporated and there are no lumps. Whisk often.
  4. Add broccoli florets to frying pan and let them warm for about 5 minutes with no heat on.
  5. Mix all ingredients together. Serve with garlic bread and a salad.
