I LOVE this time of year! We have lived in hot and sunny Florida for 11 years so pumpkin carving time never feels “fall-ish.” This week we are in Oklahoma visiting our family and it is a little more cool. We decided to go get our pumpkins and carve them while we are here. I thought I would share pictures to give you some pumpkin carving ideas if you haven’t carved yours yet.

My youngest didn’t really get too excited about his….until it was finished. LOL Here are my oldest 2. Look at that pile of guts!! This is the first year they did the ENTIRE process on their own!

All 3 of my kids had a different idea of what they wanted.

My daughter wanted something sparkly. She added self-stick rhinestones for day time sparkle and made holes by taking a paring knife and twisting it. She did a really good job!

My youngest picked out the smallest pumpkin but wanted Captain America carved on it! I found a picture online and drew it then cut it out for him. It could have been better….but hey, it could have been worse!

My oldest son had to have a HUGE pumpkin, and he wanted a mustache on his.

They all did a wonderful job, and Great-grandma sat on the porch and watched them. It was a great memory for them and for her! We love spending time with family and cannot wait to be making even more memories with them when we get moved to Texas in just a few short weeks!!!!!
