Welcome to our 2nd preteen Bible study. It’s February, the month of love, so we want to talk about what TRUE love really is– The love that God has for us, and the love that Jesus told us to have for one another. We are glad you have decided to join us for this 2 week study! If this is your first time, let me go over a couple of things with you.

First of all, we will  give Bible verses for you to read each day. We will ask you to follow a S.O.A.P. note routine that you can either keep to yourself, share with us via our FaceBook pages Goodnight Guys for boys or Sweet Dreams Sisters for girls. Be sure you “like” the FaceBook pages and subscribe to the blog to receive updates, as we go along. If you feel uncomfortable sharing publicly, you can just share among your own personal group!

As in the first study, we encourage you to invite friends to study with you! It is always a great way to see scripture in a different light when you have friends that read along with you! You may be able to help each other understand topics a little better, and it will always grow your friendship with someone when you study God’s Word with them!

If you don’t know what a S.O.A.P. note is, that’s ok, I’m going to tell you:

S stands for “Scripture.” You will write down your scripture for the day, or week, depending on the instructions.

O stands for “Observation.” You will write down what you observe going on in the scripture.

A stands for “Application.” You will write down how you can apply the lesson in the scripture to your own life.

P stands for “Prayer.” You will write down a prayer to God asking him to help you apply what you have learned in your own life.

Here is the reading plan for week one:

If you have time, hop on over to take a look at our first Bible study “Where Do I Fit In?” to see what our first Bible study was like.

Let’s get started!!
