Welcome to week one of the New Beginnings Preteen Bible Study! We are looking forward to reading along with you in the Bible to find out what it says about new beginnings.

We are going to break this study up into 2 parts over these next 2 weeks. This week, we will be looking at what the Bible says we have to do in order to be renewed in Christ. Next week, we will look at what the Bible says about what God has done to make things new again.

We will be asking you to follow a S.O.A.P. note routine that you can either keep to yourself, share with us via our FaceBook page, or even share among your own personal group!

Which leads me to my next topic: Invite friends to study with you! It is always a great way to see scripture in a different light when you have friends that read along with you! You may be able to help each other understand topics a little better, and it will always grow your friendship with someone when you study God’s Word with them!

If you don’t know what a S.O.A.P. note is, that’s ok, I’m going to tell you:

S. stands for “Scripture.” You will write down your scripture for the day, or week, depending on the instructions.

O. stands for “Observation.” You will write down what you observe going on in the scripture.

A. stands for “Application.” You will write down how you can apply the lesson in the scripture to your own life.

P. stands for “Prayer.” You will write down a prayer to God asking him to help you apply what you have learned in your own life.

All you need is your Bible (an online version will even work!), a notebook, and a pen! All of our material will be FREE and archived on the site so you can access it at any point! We will also be posting everything on our FaceBook pages Sweet Dreams Sisters and Goodnight Guys.
